At Cancer Services of Davidson County we believe in a holistic approach to providing support to our patients. Part of that support is seeing to a cancer patient's physical needs.  We provide a variety of equipment and supplies available for loan for any of our patients. This includes, but not limited to, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, bedside commodes, and hospital beds. We also have a limited selection of ostomy supplies for our patients, as well as adult diapers for those who need them. We have prosthesis and special bras for women who have undergone mastectomies, and we have wigs for women who have experienced hair loss because of their treatment. We do have nutritional supplements for a three to six month period. All of these items see to the patients physical needs, and they are all provided free of charge to any of our patients. By the way, we are always accepting donations of items like the ones listed above. We believe this physical support helps give our patients hope for life.
